But for all the good it brings, being in business can also be very testing. Customers don’t always buy when they should. Balance sheets don’t always balance and sometimes cash flow seems to have gotten lost. But with diligence, engaging your entrepreneurial spirit, some good luck and all other things being equal, you pull it together – a good life, a profitable life. One with a meaningful balance between service rendered and reward earned.

In my case I love all of the “doing” in my business – the challenge, the activities. However, it’s the “being” in my business that makes it all worthwhile. Combined they are the reason for it being there. I hope it is the same for you.

This is possibly one of the most important questions any of us may need to ponder. What is the solution or method you are using to convey your utmost gratitude to the people who help to make your life worthwhile and are the lifeblood of your business?
